Mom didn't want to post her pictures or say too much about Abby until she actually got approval from China, but she came across some pictures and information about a little girl online that is most likely our Abby on the webpage for New Day Creations Foster Home

This news is several weeks old now, but I still thought it was worth mentioning. On Monday, September 18 the La Vida's Special Waiting Child list came out and after a crazy morning of getting doctors to help fill out the application, my parents applied for one of the little girls on the list. A couple hours later they received pre-approval from La Vida, and now they are waiting on approval from China. Our Abby is 16 months old has cute, chubby cheeks. She was on the special needs list for a cleft lip that has been repaired and a cleft palette that has yet to be corrected. I hope things go smoothly and my parents get approved soon because I can't wait to give that cute little girl a hug.
