Update

This is a few days old, but anyways, mom and dad finally got the USCIS paperwork back (for whatever on earth agency they are and whatever approval they give), so everything should be on its way to China now. Hopefully it won't be too much longer now until we can go get my new little sister.

Spring has Finally Come

It's been awhile since I've put any pictures on here. I guess I will try to update it for anyone who's interested. Abby and I enjoyed getting ready to go out for a really nice spring day. Warm weather is finally here.

First Trick or Treat

Abby was Little Red Riding Hood and our grandson, Paul was a little cow. They were both so cute. Abby caught on to trick or treating really fast, and we even had a hard time keeping up with her when we were walking from house to house. We've never seen her walk so fast.

Fun Day!

Well Chuck finally took the time out of work to go and just have a fun day with Abby. We started out by eating at one of the local summertime ice cream establishments, The Corral. Then we traveled to Jamestown and went to Deer Park. Deer Park has been around for a long time; I can remember going there myself as a little kid. Abby really enjoyed feeding all the animals. We rode the train around the park and even convinced Abby to go for a pony ride. She was hesitant the first time we asked her and even said no. Once she went though, she really seemed to like it. After Deer Park, we went to the Linesville Spillway, to feed the fish and ducks.
Anyone not from our area would never understand the amount of carp that there are in one lake. There are thousands of fish that congregate in one area and they are so thick that the ducks can literally walk on the fish's back to get to the bread. After this we drove to Conneaut Lake Park (a small amusement park that everyone went to when we were growing up) and found it to be closed and in major disrepair. Then we headed to Sheetz and got a slushie and headed home. It was nice to finally have a fun day out with Abby.
